AAPEX show organizers have released information regarding covid-19 testing and vaccination requirements for the show in November.
An email with the subject, “Health Screening: What You Need to Know Before AAPEX” outlines the procedures and practices all attendees, including exhibitors, visitors and media, must adhere to.
“As part of the entry requirements for the AAPEX 2021, all attendees (that includes exhibitor staff, media and anyone else on site) must provide either proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a no more than 3-day-old negative COVID-19 test in order to enter. AAPEX has partnered with CLEAR Health Pass, to provide easy proof of COVID-19 vaccination for faster entry,” the email says.
Clear is a company that provides faster screening at certain airports and stadiums in the United States. Many travelers know it as a way to clear airport security, much like the government TSA PreCheck program.
“If you do not live in the United States, you will not be able to upload proof of vaccination to CLEAR. However, more details will be shared on how you’ll be cleared for onsite access shortly,” the AAPEX email says.
The email further explains:
“If you live in the United States and have received a COVID-19 vaccine, enroll and complete your Health Pass before arriving. Here’s how:
Download the CLEAR app and tap the white Health Pass tile
Tap ‘Events’ and the AAPEX tile
Easily enroll or verify your identity with a quick selfie
Follow the prompts to verify and your provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Option 1: Link proof of vaccination—CDC card upload (recommended)
When prompted to add your vaccination, select ‘Add your vaccination card’ to upload a photo of your CDC Vaccine Card
Take a photo of your vaccination card and confirm your vaccine information
Please note, the photo of your CDC card is used to generate a green or red Health Pass. You will not be able to access it again after it is taken.
Complete your Health Pass—a green Health Pass is good to go!
Option 2: Link proof of vaccination—Digital link
Select your vaccine provider in the menu or by searching ‘other providers.’ Log in to your patient portal and follow instructions to securely link your account with CLEAR. The CLEAR app is integrated with select healthcare providers and pharmacies.
If you are unable to find your provider in search, CLEAR may not be able to link with them at this time. Please go back and upload a photo of your CDC Vaccine Card!
Check that your COVID-19 vaccine appears in your patient portal; if not we recommend you reach out to your provider directly.
If found, your results will link automatically. It may take up to 1 hour to verify your results within Health Pass—do not try to re-sync your results.
Complete your Health Pass; a green Health Pass is good to go!
Option 3: Link proof of vaccination—SMART QR Code
Tap ‘SMART QR Code’ and follow the prompts to upload your QR code
Once confirmed, complete your Health Pass; a green Health Pass is good to go!
Before you arrive, reopen the Health Pass tile and open your Health Pass. Have your pass ready to show security for faster entry.”
