What are power steering coolers and what purpose do they serve?

I asked Dan Billie, CEO of Plews & Edelmann, to tackle this question at the recent AAPEX show.

“A lot of people don’t even know what a cooler is a cooler is a mechanism that sits behind the grill,” Billie says. “It requires what they call first air, that initial air that comes through the vehicle to cool down power steering fluid so that it doesn’t cook.”
