Sunsong North America, a leading provider of automotive fluid handling products, has announced the retirement of Dan Lewis, Senior Director of Product and Purchasing for the company.
After a remarkable career spanning several decades, Dan has decided to embark on a new chapter, capping off a legacy of outstanding contributions to Sunsong North America and the automotive industry.
With an impressive work history, Dan Lewis brought a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at Sunsong. Before joining Sunsong, he held key leadership positions at Beck/Arnley Corp, Coni-Seal and Carquest Corp, where he excelled in various areas such as purchasing, inventory management, product management and global sourcing. Dan’s exceptional career achievements were recognized with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Auto International Association (AIA) in 2007, Sunsong said in a statement.
While retiring from his current role, Dan Lewis will continue to be an invaluable asset to Sunsong North America, Sunsong said. He will assume the position of Product Consultant, working part-time to provide strategic guidance and support in enhancing Sunsong’s product offerings. This transition ensures that the company will continue to benefit from Dan’s vast knowledge and experience as it adapts to the evolving needs of the market.
As he embarks on this new chapter, Dan Lewis expressed his gratitude to Sunsong North America and his colleagues, saying, “It has been an incredible journey working with the talented individuals at Sunsong.
