Dubai is set to host the grand 20th edition of Automechanika Dubai, the largest international trade exhibition for the automotive aftermarket and service industry in the Middle East and Africa. The event, scheduled from the October 2-4, 2023, of at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC), will feature a record-breaking number of more than 1,800 exhibitors from more than 60 countries. Among the many prominent participants, the German lubricant specialist, LIQUI MOLY, promises to be a key attraction.

The LIQUI MOLY booth is in the German Pavilion, Hall 2 (Arena), Booth No.: SA-F09.

LIQUI MOLY will use the esteemed platform to unveil its expansive product range of more than 4,000 items. Spanning 102 square meters, their booth is poised to be an epicenter of innovation. One such innovation is the Gear Tronic III – a device perfected for automatic transmission fluid services that integrates cleaning with a special additive, unlocking extensive sales potentials for workshops.

“We are looking forward to the event, as it is the Middle East and Africa’s largest international trade exhibition for the automotive aftermarket industry,” says Marco Renz, Sales Director Middle East & Africa. “Having lots of partners and friends in this area, we are happy to meet as many of them as possible in person. Of course, we love to see and get to know new people also at our booth. There will be a great atmosphere – simply in line with the LIQUI MOLY Family Worldwide spirit.”

This year, Automechanika Dubai is not just about the numbers, but it’s also deeply rooted in sustainability. The automotive aftermarket industry is closely examining the burgeoning role of electric vehicles (EVs), especially in light of the UAE’s ambitious National Electric Vehicles Policy, which aims for a significant increase in EVs by 2050.

The event will introduce features like Innovation4Mobility and the Lubricants Technology Conference. These will shed light on sustainability topics such as EV charging infrastructure, battery recycling, and opportunities in green investment. These additions come in the wake of growing demand for EVs in the UAE, with projections showing a 30% compound annual growth rate from 2022 to 2028.

To round off, Automechanika Dubai 2023 promises a holistic experience. From recognizing excellence in the MENA region through the Automechanika Dubai Awards to connecting African buyers with global suppliers via AfriConnections, the event guarantees something for every participant.

In essence, as Automechanika Dubai marks two decades, it not only celebrates its history but also embraces the future, with exhibitors like LIQUI MOLY leading the charge in innovation and sustainability.

“Over the past two decades, Automechanika Dubai has firmly established itself as the premier networking hub for the Middle East’s automotive aftermarket community,” says Mahmut Gazi Bilikozen, Portfolio Director at Automechanika Dubai organisers Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said. “This year, we will have a keen focus on the EV sector, where, in the UAE for example, demand for EVs is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 30 per cent between 2022 and 2028, according to the global electric mobility readiness index published last year.”
