A number of the most prestigious awards were bestowed on members of the automotive aftermarket Thursday during the Auto Care Association’s Virtual Fall Leadership Days, being held online this year due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.
Bob Kraft, chairman of the association’s board of directors, announced the winners with who were congratulated by Auto Care Association President and CEO Bill Hanvey.

Woman of Excellence: Danielle Sonnefeld, Vice President of Business Development, N.A. Williams Company
Female Shop Owner of the Year: Kim Auernheimer, owner/business manager, Cool Springs Automotive LLC (dba CS Automotive)

John R. Washbish, president and CEO of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc., commented on Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper companies being named 2020 winners in all three categories of the Auto Care Association’s Career and Education (ACE) award.
“It’s an absolute honor to receive this prestigious recognition from the Auto Care Association,” said Washbish said. “We adapted our training efforts this year to meet the unforeseen challenges the global pandemic has caused, and we’ve all come out better-educated because of it.
