The deal closed on December 3rd, 2021.

Cost Less Auto Parts, based in Southwest Washington, has built a loyal following of retail and wholesale customers by providing fast and reliable service in addition to quality automotive parts. Both companies will be managed by Alex Hortsch, son of owner Patrick Hortsch, under the Parts Authority umbrella.

“We feel very fortunate to partner with a great company and fellow Pronto member. Parts Authority’s focus on their team members, customers, and vendors made them a perfect fit for us,” said Patrick Hortsch, owner of Cost Less Auto Parts & Automotive Products. “We are excited about this partnership and the opportunities it presents in the Pacific Northwest.”

“This acquisition allows us to significantly expand our ability to service more customers in the Western United States,” said Randy Buller, president, and CEO of Parts Authority. “Cost Less has stellar leadership and a rich automotive aftermarket history. Their unique business model has built a phenomenal reputation in Washington and Oregon making them a great addition to the Parts Authority family.”
