Recognition highlights commitment to high-quality constant velocity joints across GM vehicle platforms.
NTN Driveshaft Inc. has been honored with the 2025 General Motors (GM) Supplier Quality Excellence Award, NTN Bearing Corporation of America announced. The recognition highlights NDI’s dedication to consistently delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed GM’s stringent performance standards.
The annual award program identifies suppliers that demonstrate exceptional performance in product quality, reliability and manufacturing discipline throughout the year.
NDI specifically received the award for its production of constant velocity joints (CVJs), critical components in vehicle drivelines.
These CVJs are integrated across a variety of GM vehicle platforms, underscoring NDI’s broad impact within the automaker’s product lineup.
Applications include full-size SUVs such as the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon, as well as midsize pickup trucks including the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon.
Tamaki Kojima, President of NTN Driveshaft Inc., commented on the achievement. “Receiving the GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award is a reflection of our team’s unwavering commitment to quality and continuous improvement,” Kojima said. “We are proud to support General Motors with products that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability, and this recognition reinforces the strength of our partnership.”
NDI’s sustained success in serving leading automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) is attributed to its ongoing focus on advanced manufacturing processes, robust quality systems and strong customer collaboration, the company said in a statement.
