NTN Bearing Recognized Among 2024 ACPN Content Excellence Award Winners

These awards honor outstanding companies and individuals in the content management space, specifically recognizing excellence in the use and compliance of ACES and PIES data standards, electronic cataloging, and content in business-to-consumer (B2C) platforms within the aftermarket.

The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), part of the Auto Care Association, has announced the recipients of the 2024 ACPN Content Excellence Awards.

The awards were presented during the annual Auto Care Connect conference held from May 5-8, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. These awards honor outstanding companies and individuals in the content management space, specifically recognizing excellence in the use and compliance of ACES and PIES data standards, electronic cataloging, and content in business-to-consumer (B2C) platforms within the aftermarket.

Among the distinguished winners, NTN Bearing Corporation received the Gold award in the ACES and PIES™ Data Award for Year, Make, Model Applications Only (BaseVehicleID) in the Large category (over 250,000 applications). This award highlights exceptional source data quality and compliance with ACES and PIES standards, which are crucial for creating top-tier ACES XML files.

The other winners in this category included:

MagnaFlow Exhaust Products in the Small category (10,000-50,000 applications)
Winhere Brake Parts, Inc. in the Medium category (50,000-250,000 applications)

In the ACES and PIES Data Award for Manufacturer/Equipment Model Applications Only (EquipmentBaseID), Old World Industries was recognized with the Gold award for their exceptional data quality across over 500 applications.

Dorman Products, Inc. secured the Gold award in the Web-Based Catalog category, which honors catalog application lookup tools that are purely browser-based, requiring no special client-side apps.

The prestigious Trailblazer Award, which acknowledges an individual who leads, innovates, and significantly contributes to the ACPN and content management communities, was awarded to Doreen Slayter, ACP.

Additionally, the Receiver’s Choice Awards, which honor organizations for providing high-quality content, were presented to the following companies:
