Innovative solutions take center stage at Taipei AMPA 2024: Spotlight on mTARC and E-lead

This year, two exhibitors, in particular, are drawing attention for their groundbreaking advancements: the Mobility Taiwan Auto Research Consortium (mTARC) and E-lead.

The Taipei AMPA Show 2024 is not just a platform for showcasing the latest in automotive technology; it’s also a stage where innovative solutions from leading exhibitors take the spotlight. This year, two exhibitors, in particular, are drawing attention for their groundbreaking advancements: the Mobility Taiwan Auto Research Consortium (mTARC) and E-lead.

mTARC: Driving Innovation in the Automotive Sector

mTARC, established under the instruction of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, has become a key player in connecting Taiwan’s automotive sector with the global industry. At Taipei AMPA and AUTOTRONICS TAIPEI 2024, mTARC plans to showcase 18 automotive solutions that integrate smart and electric vehicle innovations. These solutions are the result of collaborative R&D efforts among various organizations, including the Automotive Research & Testing Center, Metal Industries Research & Development Centre, and Foxtron Vehicle Technologies.

One of the standout innovations from mTARC is the performance of its anti-lock braking system, which is comparable to that of major international manufacturers. This system is changing the exclusive monopoly held by these manufacturers and is used in a variety of vehicles. Additionally, mTARC’s solution for electric commercial vehicle fleets enables autonomous vehicles to share fleet status and traffic infrastructure information via low-latency V2V communication, outperforming most other autonomous driving teams from abroad.

E-lead: Creating Premium Smart Cockpit Experiences

E-lead, a manufacturer highly recognized and trusted by global automotive brands, is making waves in the smart car trend with its user-centered design in automotive innovation. At the show, E-lead will showcase a series of smart cockpit solutions, including a 3D spatial vision head-up display (HUD), a panoramic display HUD (PHUD), and an AI virtual personal assistant (VPA).

The 3D spatial vision HUD, featuring the world’s first continuous spatial zoom HUD projection technology, immerses virtual images with the surrounding 3D physical environment, enhancing the driving experience. The PHUD allows the driver and front passenger to see different images simultaneously, improving road safety and in-vehicle entertainment. The AI VPA, with its unique AI-based voice system, enables natural speech interaction with the vehicle, activating functions effortlessly.
