Head of Turkey’s Exporters Assembly: We are more dedicated than ever

The head of Turkey’s exporters organization says that despite the devastating earthquakes that struck the country last month, its manufacturing facilities and member companies continue production, albeit “in a more dedicated manner than ever before.”

Mustafa Gültepe, chairman of Türkiye Exporters Assembly, sent a letter to Aftermarket Intel this morning, conveying the country’s gratitude and re-assuring companies buying its products that despite the challenges, they carry on.

“We will continue to be your reliable and stable partners in trade, despite dealing with what many acknowledge as the largest natural disaster of the last century,” Gültepe writes. “We are grateful for your solidarity and convey our gratitude on behalf of Türkiye.”

Turkey has a robust automotive manufacturing base, ranging from vehicle manufacturing, including electric vehicles as well as automotive aftermarket parts.

As you know, southeastern Türkiye recently experienced a devastating earthquake which caused widespread damage and loss of life. Although the earthquakes had a disruptive impact on commercial industries and facilities in the region; our member companies throughout Türkiye carry on with their production as usual and in a more dedicated manner than ever before.

In the aftermath of the earthquake, Türkiye’s exporters and producers have shown incredible determination and resilience. They have worked tirelessly to maintain high production levels, meet customer demands without any delays and keep the global supply chains running smoothly. Despite the challenges posed by the earthquake, the exporters continue to provide high-quality goods and services to customers around the world.

This is a testament to the strength of Türkiye’s economy and the dedication of its people. Turkish exporters and producers are renowned for their unwavering commitment to quality and reliability, and they have proven once again that they can deliver even under the most dire of circumstances.
