Hahn Automotive Warehouse to acquire Carparts Distribution Center Inc.

Hahn and Carparts are both members of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.

Hahn Automotive Warehouse announced it is acquiring Carparts Distribution Center Inc., according to a press release from the companies.

Stan Lewis, Carparts’ president, will continue with the company following the completion of the transaction, the release said. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close around December 27, 2021, were not disclosed.

The Carparts main warehouse is in Plaistow, N.H., along with 20 jobber-retail stores located in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.

Hahn and Carparts are both members of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.

Hahn decided to acquire Carparts based on Carparts’ performance as a well-managed company with a
commitment to growth and customer service in the New England market, the press release stated.

Longtime Carparts shareholder Maggie Maleno said, “ I am thrilled our family business is going from my family to another family business. It was important for my employees to have a welcoming place to work.”

“We are extremely pleased to be joining Hahn to continue with the business of the combined Hahn-Carparts entity,” Lewis said. “This combination provides significant opportunities for growth for our customers, including enhanced sales and marketing efforts throughout the New England area.”
