German Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the newly named IAA Mobility show taking part in Munich, Germany, on Tuesday at the Munich exhibition center.
More than 750 exhibitors from 32 countries are taking part in the nearly week-long show around the city, where companies are presenting transportation products and services with an emphasis on climate-neutral mobility.
“The IAA MOBILITY is a signal of hope,” Merkel said. “Looking around here, I am firmly convinced that the transformation to climate neutrality will be a success for our country and for our automotive industry,” Merkel said, who was applauded by the top-class audience.
Merkel stopped by the ZF booth at the show.
