The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar for service technicians on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. ET entitled “A Lift Safety Discussion.”
In this webinar, the technical team from the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) will reaffirm key lift safety requirements and introduce elements of the changing industry needs associated with the growth and demand for electric vehicles (EVs). The discussion will focus on health and safety requirements for operator training, annual lift inspection, and markings to confirm electrical and mechanical listing as required for equipment of this type in the commercial workplace. References to existing building code requirements, OSHA’s general duty clause, and industry practices and customs will be presented.
Participants in this webinar will receive a certificate of attendance at the live session. Please allow one week for automatic email delivery of the certificate.
After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available.
