‘Electric City’ brings the future of mobility to Autopromotec

Electric transport will be on display at this year’s edition of Autopromotec, providing more than 100,000 visitors a chance to see the future of mobility. 

“Electric City” will comprise 600 square meters of exhibition space at the show, taking place May 25-28 in Bologna, Italy, at Bologna Fiere, the city’s exhibition space.

“Electric City” will feature a range of vehicles, from commuter cars to high-performance touring cars and futuristic hypercars, like the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio, Autopromotec organizers say. “Electric City” is set against the backdrop of a representation of a connected city in Hall 29 of BolognaFiere. Among the vehicles on display will be:

•Compact – Dacia Spring

•High-performance electric – Audi RS e-tron GT with a system voltage of 800 V and 646 horsepower

•Hyundai Ioniq 5, the recent winner of the World Car of the Year 2022 award

•BMW i4

•BMW iX

•Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron

•Renault Megane E-Tech Electric

•Hydrogen-powered Hyundai Nexo

 “The main objective of Electric City will be to provide more than 100,000 expected visitors with a genuine overview of electric mobility, offering solutions for the various market segments,” Autopromotec said in a press release this morning.

This year’s Autopromotec is the 29th edition of the show.

Outside “Electric City,” visitors will experience the greater impact of Autopromotec, the global exhibition of automotive aftermarket repair products and equipment.
