East Penn Manufacturing Co. has promoted Larry Miksiewicz to the position of chief manufacturing officer. This newly created position will oversee all aspects of East Penn’s extensive manufacturing divisions (Automotive, Industrial, and Diversified) and the company’s Logistics and Metals operations.
Miksiewicz has played an intricate role in supporting the full spectrum of the company’s manufacturing processes, from material procurement, logistics, purchasing and manufacturing accounting, the company says. As East Penn continues to grow, this new position will further strengthen every aspect of the company’s formidable manufacturing capabilities.
Miksiewicz most recently held the position of senior vice president of manufacturing and purchasing. Prior to this role, he served as the vice president/manufacturing and purchasing, industrial division; director/manufacturing industrial division and plant manager.
He joined East Penn in 1987 as a Project Engineer and received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
