Visitors to Australia’s largest automotive industry event, the 2019 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 4-6, have come to expect a strong presence from Monroe, the market leader in ride performance products.

For the fifth consecutive expo, Monroe was the major sponsor of this biennial showcase of the Australian automotive aftermarket industry. But this year’s visitors got something more, as the event also represented the first public display to incorporate DRiV’s new logo and brand identity, following its unveiling in February 2019.

AAA Expo visitors became among the first in the world to learn more about DRiV’s extensive aftermarket portfolio of products and how this new, totally automotive aftermarket dedicated company is developing, manufacturing and distributing a broad portfolio of premium quality products across the Australian and global vehicle aftermarkets.

The Expo provided an excellent opportunity to introduce DRiV to members of the automotive repair trade and re-seller outlets as their one-stop destination for a complete stable of well-respected, enduring automotive aftermarket brands featuring Monroe, Champion, Öhlins, MOOG, Walker, Fel-Pro, Wagner, Ferodo, Rancho and more.

This was also the first major industry expo following the introduction of Monroe Australia’s industry-leading five year warranty on the vast 0ESpectrum range of replacement shock absorbers and struts, making the spacious and well equipped Monroe stand a busy point of activity for many Expo visitors.

DRiV was unveiled to the Australian automotive trade at the nation’s largest automotive industry event, the 2019 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo held in Melbourne from April 4-6, along with all of the latest Monroe ride performance products, technology and the new family of brands that make DRiV the world’s largest automotive aftermarket company.

The 2019 AAA Expo also saw the release of the new Monroe 2019/20 Ride Performance Catalogue, the most extensive Monroe product resource ever produced by the company, with many hundreds of copies distributed to customers directly from the Monroe stand.

The extended Monroe Magnum 4WD and Heavy Duty ride performance product range was also promoted strongly at the Expo, with Monroe Australia’s senior management team joined by the company’s Territory Managers to provide detailed technical and fitment information on a face-to-face basis with their valued trade customers.

According to Brydon Tweddell, DRiV Marketing Manager – SEAP, “The 2019 AAA Expo was an outstanding success. As the major sponsor of the Expo and with so many of our trade customers in attendance, the event represents a great opportunity to showcase our leading technologies and product range, while also proudly showcasing our newly introduced DRiV global identity and all the outstanding aftermarket brands that now are a part of our unparalleled portfolio.

“The direct customer interaction that the AAA Expo offered was the highlight of exhibiting and sponsoring this event, we believe that this face-to-face trade customer communication is imperative to our continued success,” Brydon added.

A total of 430 companies exhibited automotive aftermarket products and services at this event to more than 10,000 members of the Australian automotive trade, from workshop owners, mechanics, small and large family businesses along with the major repair service chains across the three days.
