Brian Wheeler, a familiar face in the automotive aftermarket, was recognized Wednesday for his efforts in helping fight childhood cancer. His portrait appeared on one of the largest digital billboards in New York’s Times Square.

Wheeler, an automotive supplier sales and consulting executive for Deloitte, is a Top 100 fundraiser for the Great Cycle Challenge.

“I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children’s Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer,” Wheeler writes on his sponsor page. “Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.”

“Next month, I am riding 500 miles in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids’ cancer,” he said.

Great Cycle Challenge USA is a national Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF) fundraising initiative held throughout September. Top riders had their images shown yesterday on New York’s Times Square billboards.
