Dana Honored with ACPN Receiver’s Choice Award
Dana Incorporated was presented with the Epicor Receiver’s Choice Award by the Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a community of the Auto Care Association, during the 2020 ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference held virtually earlier this month. The award was presented to Dana for supplying high-quality content, digital assets, and other customer specific formats to meet ACES and PIES industry standards.

The annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange conference is the largest gathering of content professionals and their vendors and solution partners. The Receiver’s Choice Award is one four categories of Content Excellence Awards presented by ACPN and recognizes those leading the way in integrity, accuracy, timeliness, completeness, best practices, and other proprietary judging criteria.
Mitchell 1 offers new lift point Quick Link in ProDemand
The latest software release of ProDemand auto repair information from Mitchell 1 includes a new Quick Link for tire information and lifting points that combines essential information to help technicians work safely and efficiently.
“ProDemand has made proper vehicle lifting easier than ever by combining a lift-point resource with tire information in a single, convenient Quick Link,” said Gary Hixson, senior market manager for Mitchell 1 ProDemand. “We’re pleased to be able to offer this new feature to help technicians save time and take proper steps to safely lift vehicles.”
The Quick Link ribbon appears on the front page of the 1Search Plus module in ProDemand and provides instant access to the most frequently searched information in the software. Technicians can now link directly to information about lifting points as well as all tire information consolidated in this single link.
Find information on how to buy and use a car lift on updated Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) Website
In keeping with its mission to promote the safe design, construction, installation, service, inspection and use of vehicle lifts, the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) has updated its website, autolift.org, to provide more resources to lift owners, operators, installers, inspectors and manufacturers. The site also features improved navigation to help people find the information they need more quickly.
“Many people have questions about how to buy a car lift or how to safely lift a car,” explains Janelle Storey, ALI certification program coordinator. “As the lift safety watchdog for 75 years, ALI is uniquely positioned to answer those questions. With this website update, we’ve drawn on our experience to add helpful information about buying and using vehicle lifts, having your lifts inspected annually, getting lift safety training and avoiding scams and false claims.”
The updated site also features an enhanced ALI Store with photos and descriptions of lift safety materials including ANSI safety standards, Lifting It Right online training, and safety tips cards and posters. ALI plans to continue adding useful content to the site with a new blog.
BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY launches SecondGear
