Cyrus Scarver promoted to Information Technology Security Manager by The Alliance

Scarver will play a key role in the facilitation, training, communications and preparedness for IT Security at Alliance Headquarters and for Alliance shareholder members.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. announced the promotion of Cyrus Scarver to Information Technology Security Manager. With this expanded role, Scarver will play a key role in the facilitation, training, communications and preparedness for IT Security at Alliance Headquarters and for Alliance shareholder members.

“Cyrus has been a valuable and key member of the Alliance IT Team for quite some time,” said John R. Washbish, President and CEO at the Alliance. “He continues to be a leader in information security and protecting our headquarters office as well as shareholder members and their data.”

Scarver fills a critical role for the Alliance Headquarters office in San Antonio with the need for vigilant IT and system security becoming more and more crucial for sustainability.

“Cyrus Scarver is an integral member of the Alliance Information Technology team,” said Dale E. Hopkins, CIO and VP of IT at the Alliance. “While Cyrus has been leading many aspects of our security efforts, including employee training and testing, this expanded role will increase his duties directly related to cyber security for alliance systems and shareholder members. We’re in good hands with Cyrus managing this important IT function.”

The promotion to Information Technology Security Manager was effective as of Jan. 1, 2023.
