At its annual dinner gala during this year’s Industry Week, Michael Rukov of RepWorks Marketing was installed as CAWA’s 2022 Chair of the Board.
Other officers installed were: Vice-Chair, Young Suhr, Jr. of APW-Knox Seeman Warehouse; Treasurer, Tom Ogaz of the Parts Authority; Secretary, Wayne Schaack of the Automotive Distribution Network and Immediate Past Chair of the Board, Mike Mohler of the Automotive Parts Services Group.
The officers will assume their positions effective January 1, 2022. The Association sends a special thanks to its exclusive dinner sponsor, Motorcar Parts of America and its President & CEO, Selwyn Joffe.
The next formal meeting of the Association is its Leadership Meeting that will be held on February 10-11, 2022 in Napa, California. The event will take place at the Silverado Resort & Spa (www.silveradoresort.com).
A major focus of information to be shared will be the future impact of electrification on the automotive aftermarket. Furthermore, the Association’s eCommerce Task Force will be holding its inaugural meeting there. Committees and the Board of Directors will also meet to discuss Association and other contemporary industry issues.
