AutoSens is launching in China, set to take place Nov. 21-23, 2024, in Hefei, Anhui, province.

The event marks a significant milestone for Sense Media, the show’s organizer, as it expands its renowned AutoSens conference portfolio into China.

Rob Stead, founder of AutoSens, expressed his enthusiasm for the event. “Our first co-locate event in Detroit this May marked a new era for AutoSens and InCabin conferences,” Stead said. “Both events taking place side by side set a new standard, and it couldn’t have gone better. I firmly believe I’ll be saying the same thing about AutoSens China by the time we wrap up in November.”

The event is expected to draw 400 attendees, 30 exhibitors and feature a two-track conference agenda, making it a bigger launch than the first AutoSens event in Brussels in 2016. Keynotes are already confirmed from industry leaders such as Torsten Wendler, Head of ADAS at Volkswagen, and Marc Zellerhoff from BMW. Experts from Deloitte, Kontrol, and Sinpro will also be presenting, with many more speakers to be announced, organizers said.

AutoSens China will cover a range of critical topics, including radar sensing, test and validation compliance and ADAS ECU innovations. The agenda will feature simultaneous translation between English and Chinese, ensuring accessibility for all attendees.

AutoSens is a leading conference of automotive engineers working to enhance automotive imaging and vehicle perception for production vehicles. Engineers and managers involved in developing sensor-based ADAS or autonomous functions will benefit from the expert content and community that AutoSens provides. OEM and Tier 1 employees will receive fully subsidized tickets, offering them the latest market strategies and opportunities to engage with solution providers.

Suppliers of hardware, software and services for ADAS and autonomous vehicle development will have the chance to meet prospects, existing clients, and customers, facilitating network growth and new business opportunities. Academics, researchers, analysts, and regulators will also find value in the expert network and extensive networking opportunities, ensuring new collaborations and business ventures.

AutoSens China will take place at the Intercontinental Hefei Hotel, promising an immersive and technically rich agenda. Key topics will include China market analysis, sensor innovations, software-defined car strategies, data processing, validation and simulation and the latest developments in Level 3-5 autonomy.
