In a celebration of motoring history that marries the past, present and future of vehicles, Autopromotec will participate in the 40th edition of the revered Auto e Moto d’Epoca.
The event, set to run from October 26th to 29th, marks the first time the vintage car and motorbike show will be hosted at BolognaFiere in Bologna, Italy.

The collaboration between Autopromotec and Auto e Moto d’Epoca was forged within the Motor Valley Association, focusing on engaging a broader audience of motoring aficionados. Autopromotec will host a dedicated booth at the show, providing an exclusive look at the latest innovations in the automotive industry.

Attendees will be treated to a preview of Futurmotive – Expo & Talks, which is slated for November 16th to 18th, 2023, also at BolognaFiere. This teaser serves as an exciting prelude to the 30th edition of Autopromotec, scheduled for May 21st to 24th, 2025.
Autopromotec’s Francesca Del Bello recently interviewed Luca Magnotta, TEXA’s Garage Equipment and Telemobility General Manager, about the transition to sustainability in the automotive sector and the anticipation for Futurmotive – Expo & Talks.

“The ecological transition is something that no one can now, quite rightly, ignore, but which must lead to real change worldwide, not just in Europe,” Magnotta said. “Of course, this cannot be an immediate transition, as it will take a few decades for vehicles with internal combustion engines to be gradually replaced by a new fleet of electric and hybrid cars.”
“In a dynamic and ever-changing environment such as that which is characterising the automotive sector, it is inevitable that the companies within it are receptive and ready to face the changes taking place,” Magnotta said.
The 40th edition of Auto e Moto d’Epoca, hosted for the first time at BolognaFiere, will draw exhibitors, collectors, visitors, and press representatives from over 45 countries, catering to the passion of vintage car and motorbike enthusiasts worldwide.

The sprawling event, spanning 235,000 square meters, will feature a special segment dedicated to two-wheelers, occupying 15,000 square meters. This “salon-within-the-salon” design will offer participants an intimate look at the diverse aspects of Heritage.
The show’s highlights include the participation of numerous car manufacturers, emphasizing the link between tradition and innovation in the automotive industry. The event will also host tens of Historic Clubs and Registers, each showcasing models that have defined motoring history.
In addition, dealers specializing in vintage cars, restoration, and spare parts will be present, making the event Europe’s largest marketplace for heritage vehicles. Key motor institutions, including the international Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA) and the Italian ASI and ACI, will be involved, further adding to the prestige of the show. Finally, Italy’s leading companies specializing in maintenance will display their offerings in the expansive MALL at the heart of the trade show.
