Hi, I’m Mark Phillips and in this episode of Aftermarket Intel Briefing… The aftermarket show season is gearing up around the world and we’ll be talking about Autopromotec.

Whether you’re a supplier, distributor, shop owner or just about anyone involved in the global automotive aftermarket, Autopromotec in Bologna, Italy, is a show that can’t be missed. Who goes there? People you know from AAPEX are at this show. A lot of them.

With the various supply chain issues around the world, industry decision-makers are expanding their search for suppliers and this is the kind of show that can fill the void. Autopromotec, held every two years in Bologna, Italy, is set for May 25-28, 2022. Autopromotec has made its pre-show guide available online.

At the time of its posting, more than 85 percent of the exhibit space already was reserved.

Autopromotec is famous for showcasing three primary sectors: spare parts and services, tires and tire equipment and the best repair shop tools on the market.

Registration for show attendees is now open and can be found by visiting Autopromotec.com. New this year, the show has partnered with the Lufthansa group, which includes several airlines and there is also a discount code — shown on the screen – for use at participating hotels.

At Autopromotec.com, you’ll be able to find everything you need to get to and attend the show. My advice? Plan to spend an extra day or two in Bologna to see all that the city offers.

It’s brimming with culture and activities and as the seventh largest city in Italy, has a history that dates back thousands of years.
