Autopromotec 2025 sees more than 80 percent surge in show pre-registrations, marks 60 years of automotive evolution

The Bologna-based automotive trade fair has seen pre-registrations skyrocket by more than 80 percent compared to the same period in 2019, the last edition before the pandemic. Furthermore, there's an 8 percent increase in interest from exhibitors who are either new to the event or returning after a hiatus.

Less than a month after opening pre-registrations for its 30th edition, slated for May 21-24, 2025, Autopromotec is already see a surge in interest, show organizers say.

The Bologna-based automotive trade fair has seen pre-registrations skyrocket by more than 80 percent compared to the same period in 2019, the last edition before the pandemic. Furthermore, there’s an 8 percent increase in interest from exhibitors who are either new to the event or returning after a hiatus.

“What we are collecting through pre-registrations are preliminary data that are essential to better plan the entire event,” says Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec. “This year, in particular, these are numbers that we wish to monitor even more closely, because they are able to give us a significant snapshot of the performance of the entire industry. After the delicate period towards the end of the pandemic, the aftermarket is looking to the future with its usual lively and energetic pace. As for us, we can only be pleased that only one month after the start of pre-registrations, so many companies have already chosen Autopromotec as a touchpoint in their promotion strategies.”

The international appeal of Autopromotec is evident, with overseas companies making up 21 percent of the total pre-registrations to date. This early engagement is crucial for organizers to plan the exhibition layout and allocate space effectively across the pavilions, ensuring a well-organized showcase of various product sectors.

As Autopromotec gears up for its 2025 edition, it celebrates a significant milestone: 60 years of history and 30 editions of chronicling the evolution of the automotive industry.

The fair continues to highlight traditional sectors like automotive equipment, tires, spare parts, lubricants, service networks and car services. It’s also embracing the future by making room for new technologies such as software, artificial intelligence applications, sensor technology and advancements in mechanical and electronic engineering.
