Automotive Parts Associates (APA) has awarded four scholarships for the 2019-20 academic year to the children or employees of APA shareholders.
The following individuals have each been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by APA:
- Lourdes Blazquez of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Jessica Steinberg of New Hope, Pennsylvania
- Alexander Tetzlaff of Muskego, Wisconsin
- Brock Westermayer of Burnsville, Minnesota
The APA scholarships, administered by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF), are awarded annually to students who are attending, or will attend, a two or four-year accredited college; an ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary automotive, heavy duty or collision technician training program; or any licensed and accredited vocational school. Once a student has applied for an APA scholarship, the applicant is also considered for other scholarships available through the foundation’s Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships Central website at www.AutomotiveScholarships.com.
“We are excited to be able to help provide the means for students within the Automotive Parts Associates family pursuing a secondary education. We are proud to be able to give a hand up toward the future to the families within our organization and their communities,” said APA Director of Operations, Judy Sanell.
