The Automotive Distribution Network has awarded scholarships to the following recipients to attend Leadership 2.0, an industry-focused education program offered through Northwood University: Network headquarters staff members Tevin Hart, product manager, and Jeff Manning, senior project manager, WebShop; along with member representatives Shaun Lynch, IT manager, and Chuck Barcia, sales and marketing manager, ACI Parts Warehousing, Inc. in Wyoming, Mich.; and Devin Taylor, Tri-State Enterprises, Inc.. in Fort Smith, Ark.
“We are so proud to offer these Network employees and members the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills by taking part in this preeminent two-week education course at Northwood University,” says David Prater, president of the Network. “Valued at $6,000 each, these scholarships reflect the Network’s commitment to provide ongoing education and tools to deserving recipients, so that they may continue to help chart the future direction of the industry.”
Network attendees will participate in two intensive one-week sessions on the Northwood University campus in Midland, Mich., beginning this fall with a course featuring lectures by respected industry leaders. After breaking to collaborate remotely with a team on an aftermarket-specific project for six months, the group’s scholarship recipients will return in spring 2019 to further review industry trends and issues while completing their group assignments.
