Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2023, the leading automotive trade show in Malaysia, will open its doors March 16 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The event will reflect the rising trend of digitalization and electrification in the automotive industry.

Malaysia’s new vehicle sales exceeded pre-pandemic levels last year, reaching 720,658, and the government is prioritizing the electric vehicle (EV) market with various incentives. Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2023 will highlight this shift towards electrification and digitalization through specific zones dedicated to showcasing products, services, and technologies related to the overall direction of the industry.

Participants will be able to attend various conferences, including the Digitalisation and Electrification Conference and the Automotive Manufacturing and Transformation Conference.

These conferences will bring together stakeholders from the government and private sectors to explore policies, charging and battery systems and best practices in the local EV industry.

The show will also incorporate an EV & IoT Zone, featuring showcases on charging facilities, batteries, and cloud-based connectivity solutions. TechAlliance, an exhibitor, will demonstrate its aftermarket data solutions, supporting service providers with information tools that optimize business processes and access to technical data from manufacturers for repair, maintenance and diagnostics.

Additionally, the Commercial Vehicle Zone will showcase solutions that optimize commercial transportation, including diesel fuel efficiency solutions and heavy goods vehicle parts. Meanwhile, the Fleet Management Conference will explore best practices to ensure profitability and sustainability for the sector.

After-sales care will also be given prominence at the Auto Service and Maintenance Zone, where renowned brands will be featured, demonstrating diagnostic and maintenance equipment to workshop technicians tending to the latest EV requirements.

To celebrate its 20th year in the Malaysian market, Automechanika Kuala Lumpur will host an array of entertaining and interactive events, including performances, modified cars, and an OEM & Auto City Marketplace.

Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2023 is expected to be a significant platform for the automotive industry in Malaysia, showcasing the latest trends and technologies in digitalization and electrification. The event will run from March 16-18, 2023, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
