Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR) 2024 kicks off in Tianjin, China

Celebrating more than four decades of success in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, AMR has become a cornerstone event in the automotive aftermarket, offering a comprehensive trading platform that fosters collaboration and brings together industry players from across the globe.

This year’s features an expanded focus on the Repair and Maintenance and Parts and Components sectors, alongside several new zones dedicated to sustainability and innovative technologies.

Spanning approximately 100,000 square meters, the 2024 expo will see a 25 percent increase in exhibition space compared to its previous iteration.

More than 1,061 exhibitors from nine countries and regions, including France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Spain, Taiwan, the UK, and the U.S., will showcase their latest products, technologies and services. The fair will highlight advancements in maintenance, testing, painting, diagnostics, repair, and car care, with notable exhibitors such as ANCHE, Corwei (Yingkou), Haide Sanying, Maha, United Bearing China and Yingkou Dali presenting cutting-edge solutions.

A key highlight of the event is the Green Repair & New Energy zone, where companies will exhibit the latest tools and equipment for new energy vehicle after-sales services, emphasizing the industry’s shift towards sustainability. Noteworthy participants in this zone include Bees Service, Craftsman (Shanghai), Henan Yingzhirui, MAXLINK, Suzhou Qiang Li and Wuhan Onew.

In addition to showcasing the latest in vehicle parts and components, AMR 2024 will also spotlight regional OEMs and advancements in new energy vehicles and connected mobility. Faret Auto Radiator (Tianjin) Co Ltd, for example, will display parts for green and thermal management systems suitable for both ICE and new energy vehicles.

This year’s AMR has already seen record-high pre-registration numbers, with attendees including distributors, end-users, manufacturers, garages, associations and media. The expo also is welcoming domestic buyer groups from various economic zones in China, as well as international groups from Brazil, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and Myanmar.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the China Auto Maintenance Equipment Industry Association (CAMEIA), the show is featuring a special exhibition area highlighting the association’s achievements and milestones. The event will also announce China’s Top 30 Auto Maintenance Manufacturers and Distributors for 2023.

AMR 2024 will host 33 concurrent events, including conferences, seminars and forums, to provide a comprehensive platform for information exchange and industry trend analysis.

The 6th International Automotive Aftermarket Conference will feature speakers from prominent organizations, offering insights into aftermarket transformation and new energy vehicle trends.

•Huxiong Xu, Global Partner, Roland Berger;
•Zikai Gao, General Manager, After-sales Services Businesse Unit, BYD;

•Jianjun Lan, Founder of Hangzhou SUReMOOV Automobile Maintenance Technology Co Ltd.

Furthermore, the National Vocational Skills Competition 2024 will address the industry’s demand for skilled talent, with contests in New Energy Vehicle Repairer and Vehicle Paint Finishing, showcasing the expertise of professionals and vocational institutes from across China.

With its extensive coverage, AMR 2024 continues to be a pivotal event in the automotive aftermarket, driving innovation and fostering integrated development in the industry.
