Auto Care Association President & CEO Bill Hanvey addressed members of the media during a press conference at AAPEX 2018 in Las Vegas.

He discussed how he wants members to think of the association.

“Our goal is to make sure we are a key business partner to our membership,” Auto Care Association President & CEO Bill Hanvey said. “That we are a part of their organizational charts and when they think of something they need, they’re thinking of the Auto Care Association. And that they think of the Auto Care Association as an integral part of their business.”

Hanvey discussed five strategic pillars introduced by the Auto Care Association last year.

They are:

1) Emerging vehicle technologies
2) Supply chain efficiency and standards adoption
3) membership growth and retention
4) Global growth
5) Profile and influence. “How do we raise the bar of our industry?” Hanvey asked.

Hanvey then explained four things the association is focusing on now and next year. Watch the address here.
