The Auto Care Association announced that Jonathan Larsen has been promoted to the position of vice president of standards and digital products. In this new role, Larsen will be responsible for the direction, oversight and growth of all aspects of the Auto Care Association’s data standards products, tools, resources and data, including external-facing platforms and content.

Envirotech Vehicles’ EVP Sue Emry selected for future mobility presentation during Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit on Oct. 17
Envirotech Vehicles, a provider of new zero-emission, purpose-built electric vehicles, said Executive Vice President Sue Emry was selected to present during the annual Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit (NWA Tech Summit) in Bentonville, Ark., Oct. 17. Emry’s presentation will discuss the future of mobility and the importance of last-mile EVs. During the presentation, she will also discuss the market opportunity and growth forecasts for EVs, incentives outlined in the Inflation Reduction Act and the impact EVs will have on lowering carbon and fuel emissions to protect the environment.

DENSO appoints Santosh Singh to senior Vice President in North America
DENSO has appointed Santosh Singh to Senior Vice President. In this role, he will oversee Human Resources, Legal, Government Affairs and Corporate Communications groups in the region and serve as the North America chief compliance officer. He will remain based at the company’s regional headquarters in Southfield, Michigan.

BOLT Lock introduces redesigned J-Mount
BOLT Lock has redesigned its popular J-Mount jack mounting system for Jeep JL and Gladiator models. In response to customer input, the J-Mount now features a new mounting solution that makes it even easier to mount and remove the jack with the same reliable security features that BOLT products are known for. The J-Mount (part #7040029) for both the driver and passenger sides of the Jeep Gladiator and JL is now available under one SKU number to simplify inventory management and ordering.

Advance Auto Parts donates $25,000 to Breathitt County Area Technology Center
Advance Auto Parts has announced a $25,000 donation to Breathitt County Area Technology Center, a technical school in Jackson, Ky., that serves approximately 400 local students in grades 8-12. The donated funds will assist with rebuilding efforts of the school’s automotive technology program following the devastating flooding that impacted Eastern Kentucky over the summer. On Sept. 21, team members from Advance presented the donation to Breathitt County ATC principal Joseph Mayabb and auto tech instructor Darryl Cole at Hazard Community and Technical College, Lees College Campus, in Jackson. Breathitt County ATC will hold classes and all operations at HCTC for the foreseeable future.
