In recognition of the vital role that automotive service professionals play in the transportation industry, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has announced June 2023 as Automotive Service Professionals Month (ASPM). The month-long celebration will honor the hardworking professionals who keep vehicles running smoothly and safely on the nation’s roads.
To mark the occasion, ASE has created a unique logo that can be used by companies, organizations and individuals to acknowledge and appreciate vehicle service professionals during the month of June. The logo, along with other ASE digital assets, can be downloaded at no cost from ASEtoolkit.com.
ASE is encouraging industry members to embrace Automotive Service Professionals Month as an opportunity to express gratitude to service professionals through recognition events, special programs, and various celebrations. By participating in these initiatives, companies and individuals can demonstrate their appreciation for the skills and dedication of the 220,000 ASE Certified professionals working across the United States.
Established in 1972, the non-profit organization ASE has been committed to upholding and promoting high standards of service and repair in the transportation industry. Through assessments, certifications, and credentialing of current and future industry professionals, ASE ensures that those carrying the esteemed ASE Blue Seal logo possess the crucial knowledge and skills needed to excel in their field.
ASE offers multiple options for testing and recertification, including in-person testing at more than 450 secured, proctored Prometric test centers, the ASE renewal app for recertification of unexpired automobile certifications (A1-A9), and ProProctor remote testing for online recertification of all ASE tests, excluding L1 and L2.
