The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc. announced a new strategic leadership role for Jim Holik, naming him Director Technology Marketing. In this position, Holik will lead initiatives focused on advancing the Alliance’s technology-driven marketing strategy.

Holik’s responsibilities will include strengthening and enhancing Alliance digital platforms, supporting B2C and B2B eCommerce solutions, driving engagement and prioritizing search engine optimization (SEO), geolocation (GEO) and agentic search initiatives.

Dale E. Hopkins, Chief Information Officer of the Alliance, highlighted Holik’s tenure and expertise. “Jim has played a critical role in shaping and evolving the Alliance’s marketing initiatives for almost a decade,” Hopkins said. “As technology continues to transform how we connect with shareholders, customers, and industry channel partners, this new role reflects both Jim’s expertise and our commitment to staying ahead of the curve. His ability to bridge marketing strategy with emerging technology solutions makes him the ideal person to lead this next chapter.”

As Director Technology Marketing, Holik will oversee the design, maintenance and continuous improvement of Alliance platforms and communication solutions. A strong emphasis will be placed on enhancing user interfaces and experiences, expanding brand and product visibility, developing tactical content for online discovery and supporting shareholder member sales and marketing initiatives.

Additionally, Holik will provide creative marketing leadership, digital strategy and hands-on execution for the ongoing development, optimization and growth of the Alliance’s B2B MyPlace4Parts solution and B2C eCommerce platforms. His focus will extend to search engine optimization, search engine marketing (SEM), driving location-based traffic to support sales conversions, performance measurement, private label branding and the development and deployment of localized digital marketing strategies to assist shareholders in increasing conversions across markets.

Holik expressed enthusiasm for his new duties. “I’m greatly looking forward to working directly with our Shareholders and our own Information Technology team on current and future initiatives,” Holik said. “With how quickly technology is changing, particularly with the search and discovery of products and brands, it is exciting to be working with this talented group of IT professionals and applying my skillset and expertise.”

The creation of this role signals the Alliance’s continued investment in innovation, digital transformation and long-term strategic growth. This initiative comes as the organization expands tools and resources designed to support shareholders, channel partners and customers across the automotive aftermarket.

Hopkins reiterated the significance of the appointment. “Technology is integrally important to every aspect of our business,” Hopkins added. “By dedicating leadership specifically to technology-focused marketing initiatives, we are reinforcing our commitment to providing modern, effective solutions that create value throughout the entire Alliance network.”
