Aftermarket automotive companies set to expand global reach through International Matchmaking Virtual Program

The Auto Care Association has teamed up with the United States Commercial Service (USCS) to host the International Matchmaking Virtual Program from June 27-29, 2023.

In an effort to assist U.S. companies in exploring and increasing their presence in key export markets, the Auto Care Association has teamed up with the United States Commercial Service (USCS) to host the International Matchmaking Virtual Program from June 27-29, 2023. This unique opportunity will allow American businesses to connect with pre-screened overseas prospects, distributors, buyers, importers, partners, and industry multipliers across Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Through one-on-one virtual meetings facilitated by the Auto Care Association and the U.S. Commercial Service, participants can expect to expand their global network and explore new business possibilities. Registration for the program is free for Auto Care Association members.

To qualify for the matchmaking program, U.S. companies must promote products and services with at least 51% U.S. content by value. The U.S. Commercial Service will be responsible for reviewing applications and notifying companies of their acceptance.

“Past participants have seen significant success from the Auto Care Association’s export promotion programs, and we are confident that this year’s virtual platform will provide even greater opportunities,” said Bill Hanvey, President and CEO of the Auto Care Association.

The International Matchmaking Virtual Program is part of the Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) award that the Auto Care Association received from the U.S. Department of Commerce, aimed at supporting the automotive aftermarket industry in increasing its exports.

Companies interested in participating must register by Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
