ACMA Automechanika New Delhi’s 5th edition: A landmark event showcasing global automotive aftermarket innovations and trends

With renewed enthusiasm from the exhibitors and the stakeholders, the three-day expo is scheduled to hit the ground February 1-3, 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi with a robust display of the latest innovations. This will be the first physical edition of the event post-COVID-19. 

The 5th edition of the prestigious ACMA Automechanika event in New Delhi is set to be a grand affair, expanding its scope and scale significantly. This year’s event, scheduled for February 1-3, 2024, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, marks a special occasion as it will be the first in-person edition since the pandemic. Over 500 exhibitors from 12 countries are expected to participate, making it a global hub for the automotive aftermarket industry.

Spanning 25,000 square meters, the show floor will present an impressive array of products and services from various sectors of the automotive aftermarket. The expo will cater to a wide range of vehicles including two-wheelers, passenger cars, commercial, and agricultural vehicles. It’s an ideal platform for wholesalers, distributors, and professionals from repair shops and service stations to explore new business opportunities and network.

This edition is particularly notable for its over 100 new participants, adding to the diversity and richness of the showcase. Renowned brands such as Schaeffler, ZF India, Mahle Aftermarket, and others will exhibit their latest innovations alongside international names from the USA, UAE, Germany and more.

“The automotive industry is experiencing significant growth, driving an increased demand for auto components and the aftermarket sector,” said Vinnie Mehta, Director General, Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA). “The outlook for the industry is optimistic, given the continuous expansion of the market size and the notable growth in component exports, rising by 5 percent to USD 20.1 billion in FY 2023 from USD 19.1 billion in FY 2022. Notably, exports to North America, Europe, and Asia have witnessed growth in 2023 compared to the previous year. As this edition of Automechanika marks the 1st physical edition post-COVID-19, we are delighted to witness the enthusiasm of exhibitors from both India and abroad, along with the support of associations and all stakeholders associated with the industry. This collective effort is set to create a vibrant show floor once again.”

In the backdrop of a growing automotive industry, as highlighted in ACMA’s Auto Components Industry Review for FY22-23, the event promises to reflect the sector’s dynamic nature. The report indicates significant growth in domestic vehicle sales and exports, underlining the importance of such industry gatherings.

In addition to the product displays, the event will host knowledge-sharing sessions, conferences, and discussions to delve into industry trends and developments. Partnerships with organizations like TechSci Research, Elofic Industries Ltd, HIM Tecknoforge Ltd, and Ample Auto Tech underline the collaborative spirit of this edition.
