Attendees of Autopromotec have no doubt landed at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport, where the massive automotive aftermarket and auto technology show is held.

Now, Automobili Lamborghini has announced that the company has renewed its partnership with Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ) for the seventh time. Lamborghini has delivered a new follow-me car, a Huracán EVO, which will guide arriving and departing aircraft to and from the parking apron and taxiway until January 7, 2022, the company says.

“The Huracán EVO follow-me car, a super sports car with an aspirated 640 HP, 5.2-liter V10 engine, features a livery specially designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile. The checkered design in Arancione Matt, reminiscent of the operating vehicles in aircraft maneuvering areas, emerges from a base of Verde Turbine Matt,” Lamborghini says. “The exterior is completed with the writing ‘Follow Me in Our Beautiful Country’ highlighted by the Italian flag. The car is also equipped with flashing warning lights and a radio connected to the airport control tower.”

About Autopromotec — the show will be back in 2022, and is being held May 25-28 at Bologna Fiere, the trade show fairgrounds with more than 4 million square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibition space.

Companies wishing to exhibit must fill in an application form in order to reserve a stand.
